If you're looking to enable Developer Options and/or the System UI Tuner for your Moto G5 Plus, you're in the right place. It appears that Lenovo has hidden the Developer menu to reduce confusion for new users of the device, but it can easily enabled. It's important to note that during our testing, we had to enable the Developer menu first before we could enable the System UI Tuner. Try the following steps listed below.

Enable Developer Options:

1. Go to Settings (either by swiping down from the notification bar and pressing the gear icon, or through your apps drawer button)


2. Scroll to the bottom, and press About phone


3. Tap on Build number 7 times


4. Developer Options should now be enabled
   

Enable the System UI Tuner menu (ensure Developer Options is enabled first):

1. Swipe your finger downward from the top of the screen to open your Notifications pane


2. Press the down arrow near the top left of the screen to expand your shortcuts


3. Hold your finger on the gear icon (Settings) for about 4 seconds, and then release


4. A notification should have appeared that states "Congrats! System UI Tuner has been added to Settings"


5. System UI Tuner should now be enabled.


6. Both of these menus can be accessed from Settings
