Adsense Gets a Facelift

After many years of the same old design, Google recently announced the text-based ad blocks of Adsense are getting a slight facelift. The goal is to bring a more consistent feel to their ads across all mediums of delivery. Font size and layout changes were nothing too major, but you may notice one significant difference, there is now a large arrow enticing you click through.

The arrow is said to be color customizable to match your preferred color pallet. But will the idea of having a giant directional signal really help create more revenue for publishers? If anything, it may make the ad appear too intrusive and have the opposite effect.

Now all we can do is anxiouslty await what other updates Adsense has in store.
