If you're looking to consolidate your notes electronically, the Windows 10 Sticky Notes program is a wonderful thing. However, when I switched to Windows 10, it seems to be missing one important feature: the ability to use the Tab key. Tab spaces provide excellent structure to your Sticky Notes, and is a feature that I hope will return soon.
In the meantime, here is an alternative method to use tab spaces:
- Place your cursor where you would like to insert a tab space
- Press, and hold, the [Alt] key
- Press [0], then [9], on your 10-key number pad.
If done correctly, this will insert a Tab space where your cursor is located. You can then copy and paste this new Tab character to other locations, or just hold
[Alt], then press
[0] +
[9] again.
