If you have an LG Optimus Zone 2 VS415PP that is stuck in Activation Mode or on the Activation Screen, use the guide below to exit it.

Note: This guide is was intended for LG Optimus Zone 2 VS415PP phones locked in Activation Mode or on the Activation Screen using Verizon as the service provider. While this information may apply to other phones or services providers, we've only tested this information on this device with successful results. Proceed with caution.

From the Setup Wizard / Language Selection screen:

1. Press the Volume Up button


2. Press the Volume Down button


3. Press the Back button


4. Press the Home button


5. This should present you with the option to [ Leave Setup ]

Old Guide
From the Setup Wizard / Language Selection screen:

1. Press the Volume Up button


2. Press the Volume Down button


3. Press the Home button


4. Press the Back button


5. You can setup an email account, or just press [Skip]


6. You can link a Google Account, or just press [No]


7. If you chose to skip linking a Google Account, press [Not Now]


8. A summary screen should appear, which will display your selections. Press [Done] to exit the Setup Wizard.

You should have now bypassed the activation screen, which will allow you to use the phone without activating it on your carrier.
