If you have an LG Lucid2 VS870 that is stuck in Activation Mode or on the Activation Screen, use the guide below to exit it.

Note: This guide is was intended for LG Lucid2 VS870 phones locked in Activation Mode or on the Activation Screen using Verizon as the service provider. While this information may apply to other phones or services providers, we've only tested this information on this device with successful results. Proceed with caution.

From the Language Selection screen:

1. Press Volume Up button


2. Press Volume Down button


3. Press the Back button


4. On the Setup Wizard Screen press [Next]


5. Press the Home button when you see "Checking the Backup Assistance Plus server..." message.


6. When the "Leave setup wizard screen appears, press [Leave wizard], then press [OK] to confirm.

You should have now bypassed the activation screen, which will allow you to use the phone without activating it on your carrier.
